Mendenhall High School senior Kayli Smith has been selected as a member of the 2026-2027 State Superintendent's Student Advisory Council.
The council brings together high school students from across Mississippi to provide the State Superintendent of Education with student perspectives on educational opportunities and policies. Members also serve as liaisons between the Mississippi Department of Education and public school students throughout the state and participate in scheduled meetings, discussions, and group projects.
The Simpson County School District congratulates Kayli on her selection and is proud to see her represent Mendenhall High School and the Simpson County School District at the state level.
